Practice 01 · Experience Design & Interactive Worlds
Immersive interfaces wired to intelligent systems.
For the operator whose room is premium and whose website is not. Premium websites, portals, and motion-led interfaces connected to the data, AI, and dashboards underneath, so the front door matches the system behind it.

The room is the work. Pacing, motion, materiality · tuned together before the first screen is drawn.
What is immersive website design?
Immersive website design is the practice of building digital surfaces that feel like spaces rather than pages. Your visitor moves through a coherent atmosphere: pacing, motion, materiality, type, and editorial rhythm tuned together, the way you tune a room before opening night. At Morvion, this practice covers premium editorial websites, hospitality and retail digital storefronts, brand-aligned UI design systems, and conversion-focused interactive environments for operators who want the first impression to feel as intentional as the physical one.
What this practice delivers.
The work inside this practice. Most engagements pull from two or three of these, never all of them, never none.
Premium editorial websites
Magazine-grade web experiences for brands that earn attention through craft. Type, motion, and pacing tuned for your reader, not an algorithm.
Hospitality & retail storefronts
Booking-aware digital storefronts for bars, restaurants, hotels, and curated retail. Reservations, ordering, and venue systems wired in live, so nothing gets re-typed.
Brand-aligned UI design systems
Component libraries that carry your brand's voice into every screen. Tokens, accessibility, and motion specs documented so any future team can inherit them.
Conversion + reservation flows
Short, calm conversion paths that remove friction rather than add hype. Tested with your real guests and customers, not assumptions.
Motion + interaction direction
Choreography for scroll, hover, and transition states. Motion that clarifies the structure of the experience instead of decorating it.
Photography + asset pipelines
Direction and curation of brand photography, illustration, and 3D, paired with delivery pipelines (CDN, AVIF, responsive) so the visual stays sharp at every breakpoint.
Five honest steps.
The same loop runs across every practice, what changes is the artifact at each step. See the full process for detail.
- 01
Discover
Two-week sprint into your brand, your room, your customer's mental model, and the actual moment of arrival.
- 02
Design
Tone, type, color, motion, and pacing decisions locked into a coherent atmosphere · not a Figma file with 200 frames.
- 03
Build
Production-grade implementation in Next.js with accessibility, performance, and instrumentation built in from day one.
- 04
Launch
Quiet, measured launch · analytics on day zero, CDN warmed, edge caching tuned, observability live.
- 05
Grow
Embedded retainer or quarterly evolution · the surface keeps improving rather than getting redesigned every 18 months.
What you actually get.
Concrete artifacts, not slide decks. Every engagement leaves something the team can hold, edit, and own after we leave.
- Production-grade Next.js codebase with type safety
- Brand-tokenized design system documented for inheritance
- Accessible, motion-tuned UI components
- Asset pipeline (AVIF/WebP, responsive sizing, lazy-loading)
- Analytics + Core Web Vitals dashboard
- Editorial calendar (where applicable) + CMS access
- Handover documentation + 30-day support
A real engagement, or honest R&D.
We name our work for what it is, a live client engagement, an internal R&D probe, or a concept.

- What is immersive website design?
- Immersive website design builds digital surfaces that feel like spaces, not pages. At Morvion this covers editorial websites, hospitality storefronts, brand-aligned UI systems, and interactive interfaces where typography, motion, and material are tuned together. Your visitor reads intentional craft, not a template.
- Who is an immersive website right for?
- Operators whose first impression is part of the offer: hospitality (bars, restaurants, hotels), curated retail, premium service businesses, design-led studios, and venture-backed startups. If guests praise the room and you wince at the website, this is for you.
- How long does an Experience Design engagement take?
- Production launches typically land inside 8 to 14 weeks from kickoff. You see the first working version inside the first 4 weeks, then two-week iteration cycles until launch. Two-week Discovery Sprints are available for projects that need validation first.
- Do you handle photography and visual content?
- Yes. We direct or curate brand photography, illustration, and 3D where the project calls for it. We do not ship stock photography on premium engagements. Where you already hold strong visual assets, our contribution is curation and pipelining.
- What does an Experience Design engagement cost?
- Scoped per phase depending on the depth of the surface (single-page editorial site versus multi-room hospitality storefront with booking integrations versus brand-aligned UI design system). Discovery Sprints are fixed-price for two weeks. You hear the price transparently on the discovery call before any commitment, no ambiguous ranges.
Bring the brief. We'll shape it.
30-minute discovery call. We come back with a written shape: scope, timeline, risk, price. If we're not the right room, we say so on the call.
