Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Morvion collects, uses, and protects personal data submitted through this website. Morvion complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
Morvion is a creative technology studio founded by Edward Salvatierra, based in Zurich, Switzerland. Contact: hello@morvion.com.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form submissions, when you submit the contact form on /contact, we collect: your name, email address, company (optional), industry, intended budget range, project description, selected deliverables, and any attached files you choose to share.
- Technical data, your IP address (anonymized), browser type, device type, and pages visited. Used for security, rate limiting, and aggregate analytics.
- Cookies, Morvion does not currently use marketing, advertising, or social-media cookies. Strictly-necessary session cookies may be used to support form submission and security.
3. Why we collect it
- To respond to your inquiry (legal basis: legitimate interest in conducting business; pre-contractual measures under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To prevent spam and abuse (legitimate interest).
- To improve the website via aggregate, anonymized analytics (legitimate interest, no individual tracking).
4. How long we keep it
- Contact form submissions: retained for 24 months after the last contact, then deleted unless required by Swiss law to retain longer (e.g. for fulfilled contracts).
- Technical / log data: retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention, then deleted or anonymized.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. Limited third-party processors used to operate the website:
- Vercel Inc., website hosting and edge delivery. Data processed under their Data Processing Agreement. EU servers used where possible.
- Email delivery provider, used to transmit contact form submissions to hello@morvion.com.
6. Your rights
Under FADP and GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten).
- Request data portability.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local supervisory authority.

7. Security
The website uses HTTPS exclusively, a strict Content Security Policy, and rate limiting on form submissions. We do not store contact form data in a public-facing database.
8. International transfers
Some processors (e.g. Vercel Inc.) are based in the United States. Transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent legal mechanisms recognized under Swiss and EU law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Substantive changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes affecting your rights, we will provide a more prominent notice.
